Or if you are in a hurry remember this simple saying:

West VirginiA …… or watts divided by volts = Amps

keep it at 100 volts and you always will be safe

for example:

1000 watt lamp divided by 100 volts = 10 amps

In the real world the voltage would be 110 in a house so the amps would be 9.09, safe for a 15 amp breaker

but you can see you could not plug two 1ooo watt lamps into a 15 amp circut

I built my pc for strictly Matrox and Adobe. I am by no way a pc guru, I stuck strictly to the Matrox specs orded the MB and other parts online giving the dealer the specs I needed. Put in 3 harddrives, 1 system 1 for video and 1 for audio. System works fine for me. Also put Premiere on a new HP nx9600 laptop and it works fine there off the system drive.

Avoid headaches by contacting whoever will be broacasting. They will gladly inform you the format that they require along with the bars, tone and slate requirement for the tape.

thanks for the quick reply, just loaded it to a HP Nx9600 with 2 gigs of ram , seems to be ok, will probally get an external usb drive for my video files , any ideas on a good choice on a drive ?
