Hope you FCP folks can help a lost Premiere guy. My boss has me doing some work in FCP. Things are going well except I can only view out to my NTSC monitor from clips in the viewer window and not the timeline. Any ideas ? I have checked the view – video all frames and selected output to NTSC device. Playing from the time line I get audio ok but the video is just a static video frame.

    thanks all for any help

    Tom

Make sure your Canvas is always in “Fit To Window” or smaller in the Canvas’ Zoom Pop Up menu. If you have scroll bars, you are too far zoomed in and won’t have decent playback.

    Kevin–

You’re going to have to have a “beer card” at NAB, like the old-fashioned “dance cards” the ladies used to have!

Bring it ON! I’m a fan of Rogue Ales. My current fave? “SKULL SPLITTER” AKA Brutal Bitter Black. MMMM….
