Not sure if I got you correctly but try going to EDIT TAB, right click on audio track with your 6 channel audio and choose:
Change track type to -> Adaptive -> 6

    Hope that helps.

October 16, 2015 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Resolve XML imported time-remapped clips issue

    A little update.
I noticed the problem is hidden in Davinci Resolve the way it imports videoclips. I noticed that for example light strobe in certain clip occurs exactly in frame #3 in Premiere but in Resolve it takes place in #2, just like the first frame was cut off in Resolve. This way the last frame in Premiere is the last frame, but in Resolve the last frame-1 is the last but repeated twice.

So my question is – WHY THE HELL RESOLVE makes that irritating one frame offset on EVERY clip of same camera?
Just to mention – I have two cameras and one of them work perfectly, but the second one has offset. Both quicktime but I just found odd parameter in media info:
    “Format settings, ReFrames: 1 frame”
    “Format settings, ReFrames: 2 frames”

Is it somehow related? Why does it work in Premiere and Resolve not?

I believe problem is located in framerates. Double check whether you really have 29,975 input footage and/or comp settings is the same framerate and/or export settings have the same parameters.

Dave, as mentioned above I am interested in getting the cloud or liquid set in void organic move.
I know lights are not visible to camera but in my case the work as particle emitters.

    Sorry for primitive description.

I have a set of Lights, consider them a swarm of points that create a cloud or liquid hovering in void. How to animate them (this set of Lights or any other objects/layers) to make them look “organic” as entity. I am talking about 3d space of course.

Guys just in case it helps anyone – it is possible to scroll timeline horizontally with mousescroll. You only need to go to View menu and tick out option “Enable 2D Timeline Scroll”. Now mousescroll moves timeline horizontally and if you need to scroll vertically you press Shift.

Of course not to mention the fact I made recently one complete project and by the end I had to save project every single operation because Resolve started to crash every few minutes.
