    Cheers, here comes the question.

Situation is as follows. I edit in Premiere, export project to Resolve via xml after client accepts montage. But it happens that client comes back after grading and wishes to make changes in edit.
I may of course edit inside Resolve to keep all grading but my wish is to make changes in Premiere, export xml even with one slight change but make Resolve know that the project is “the same” but with slight edit and keep grading information in all unchanged parts of the project.

What to do to force Resolve keep all gradings in unchanged parts of the project (in clips that remained after editing changes). I am sure the solution is simple but I never got to know it.

Create a new timeline for the new edit, and use ColorTrace to bring in the old color corrections for the existing shots.
