What you did not mention is what kind of raid are you playing the clip back from. That can be a bottle neck with a slow HD or HD doing double duty (ie playing media off the same drive your OS and Apps are on – a big no no.

Id be glad to test a clip on my system if you can make it downloadable.

The only camera trackers I am aware of (Mocha 3, Syntheyes and Boujou) will have challenges with any in frame motion that is different from the camera motion. I mask out this motion to get a better track solve. I dont think that is a viable option with your footage, but without seeing it thats pure speculation. Good luck!

Oh you want THAT kind of page turn. 😀 I was describing the full screen page turn as opposed to the Book Page Turn. I did a demo of it that I can send you with You Send It if your are interested in analyzing what I did. It is a different approach then what you have been told previously.

Here you go.

1. Created a comp with a layer that is your top page. Apply CC Page Turn to it.

2. Create a layer that is the back side. Turn off its visibility. And in the CC Page effect select this as the back page.

3. Precomp these layers and place it over what ever you want reveal with the page turn.

If you are on a PC you cannot install FCP on it. It is for Macs only. 😀

I would theorize its the BMD drivers. When CS6 was developing Adobe Transmit (the new code allowing external devices like Kona to more easily get hooks into the Player). BMD seems to have more trouble then AJA.

As someone running CS6.02 on a HP Z820 PC I can say the the Kona runs as expected. No frame delays to the external monitor. No audio issues.
With AJA and Adobe products, you now dont need to use any special sequences. Just the regular old Adobe sequences will now playback with full CUDA goodness and display on my external engineering monitor.

I dont care for BMD so have no experiences to share regarding their products. Sorry.

If you liked Prores with FCP theres no reason not to master to it with PrP. Nothing really has to change in that regard.
