Wow. Thats like saying “how do you make a movie” 😀 So many skills and sensibilities are involved it would be like a 2 hour dialog.
First thing you need to know is how to use the tools. Then you need to find a style you like an vary it to your taste. Hows that for starters?

Todd, In reference to the solution for encode failure due to to many processors….I tried the work around since the HP Z820 has 32 hyper threads which QT doesnt like, I configured it for 20.
While I WAS able to export to QT DNxHD and H.264, the audio was off by about 2 frames. This was evident in a music video where bad sync is painfully apparent.
The sequence was 1920 x 1080 1.0 29.97 48K
As a PC user I cant in good faith endorse this fix.

Im seeing a predominance of custom wipe transitions. Boris Red 5.0 has the ability to create these kind of things. They have a large library, but some of these are so unique you would have to build your own. For Mac users I would investigate FX Factory & friends. They are not as customizable, but still have lost of variety.

If you dont resolve the problem, you might want to consider using Mocha AE which comes with AE and rotoscopes extremely well. Do learn to use it from tutorials at the Mocha website before attempting it on your project for best results.

Everything I upload to You Tube is 1080P. There is a slight delay after uploading that involves the processing of that video. Over a few minutes the 1080 display option is eventually displayed.

Try creating a new project, then import the old project into it. Then delete and reimport the C4D movie.

It was opportune that you by happenstance had the ability to try out the newer machine. It sounds like it gave you a good perspective on the situation. At least you know where you stand and what possible options are in the future.

Sounds like just a Mac thing. I have a GTX 570 on my HP Z820 and experience no such issues.
