I haven’t had too many problems with WS until now. I’m suspecting more and more it’s something to do with Magic Bullet Looks.

Actually the sequence does match the clip settings, that’s what’s so confusing. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to apply the effect in the first place. I have a hunch it may have something to do with MB Looks. I’ve got another sequence not using Looks but MB Mojo and they’re not losing anything.

On my system the raw video is stored on a network drive and the media cache is on my local drive.
Is that what you mean? Sorry, Premiere newbie hereDell T76000 Dual 8-core 2.4 GHz

This isn’t the solution you’re looking for but you could drop your transition between your clips, trim it to 1 frame, copy it, then just arrow your way down your transition points and paste at whatever points you need. Easy peasy.

Alex:
I found what you were talking about. I right click and select “open in timeline” At this point i’ll make it work instead of shifting the times, etc.
But this will definitely help in the future.
Thanks!

Sorry, yes I did mean from the timeline.
In FCP I could trim that clip on the timeline to an earlier point in time.
But there is no source timeline when I click on the multiclip. It just pops up in the source monitor as the multiclip segment. It’s not nested or anything.
I guess I could set my in points and just back up the equal amount of time in each clip, then make the multiclip.
Kind of a pain, especially since I’ve already created and edited the clips, so it’s not a solution this time around.
Unless I’m misunderstanding you. Which is entirely possible.Dell T76000 Dual 8-core 2.4 GHz

October 11, 2012 at 6:57 pm in reply to: Green Flash frames in ProRes HQ 2k sequence crashHi Alan. I’m trying to scan back into my memory banks (which is getting more and more difficult) and I seem to remember I just created a brand new project in FCP and copied and pasted the programs into a new project. The project was HUGE and i think was corrupted.
Now that I’m thinking, I seem to remember Magic Bullet Looks being a culprit in quite a few of my crashes (probably about 75%) until I updated to a newer version.
See if either of those are the problem and let us know.

I was originally monitoring audio out of my computer as opposed to the AJA card and that was the issue for me. I had monitored out of my computer when I had a mac and blackmagic card with no problems.
As soon as I switched over to monitoring audio out of the card the problem went away. There was still a delay, but at least it was synced.
Shortly after, however, the AJA audio kept dropping.
I’ve ended up turning off any monitoring through the card for the time being until they get this sorted out.
I’m really very frustrated with this card. It’s causing so many problems for me.Dell T76000 Dual 8-core 2.4 GHz

It seems all my problems have to do with AJA. Thanks Tom
