Actually, that sounds like a Mac security issue. When you switch from the default mic input in PPro audio settings, it should give you a Mac alert that you have to click through to allow it to use different hardware. I don’t know how to force Mac to allow it, other than reinstalling PPro. Security in Macs have gotten ridiculous.

Are you on the latest build 15.2? If not, update. If you are, uninstall, then reinstall – blow out your preferences. Report back if that helped or not.

HA! Funny thing. All these years I’ve been using Shift+CMD+K, when all I need was CMD+K. Thought I’d just give it a shot. Worked. 🙂

Hold down shift and blade away or Shift+CMD+K on Mac.

Yep. I was just looking for that Report button.

Is this network drive a shared video storage drive? Or is it just a network server? I don’t see what the network drive is, but you do say “network server”. If it’s just a network server, then you probably shouldn’t be trying to edit from it anyways. They aren’t built to edit video from.

I’m just trying to figure out the first one first. Media Browser shows your network drive, but when you go to File/Adobe Dynamic Link and select Import After Effects Composition, it won’t show your network drive? Even if you go to My Computer? I know Home edition has some limited network abilities, but should be able to see the shares if they are showing up in your computer.
Was this computer already set up with all your Adobe apps from a previous user, or are they new install? I may take a few minutes to uninstall and reinstall without settings/preferences.

Mac/PC? Is it just one sequence/project? Or does it happen with others?
Rendering to something like ProRes works fine?
I’ve never had this issue on my trash can Mac, but I’ve had my PC with an older video card that would have issues rendering out h264 – occasionally. It would fail somewhere in the render, then on trying to re-render it would fail at frame 0. Restarting the app sometimes worked. But going into Project Settings and changing the Renderer to Software Only would allow it to get through the render. Took longer, but it worked. Not sure if this workaround will work for you, but it’s something to try.

April 29, 2021 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Premiere Pro exports produce corrupted/out of sync audio in Quicktime PlayerWelcome to the forums! I’m not sure what is going on with it if you are transcoding to ProRes 422 48k, and editing with matching settings. But I would try to render out an intermediate ProRes file – it will be considerably larger than your h264 mp4. The render out of PPro should be pretty quick if you use the same ProRes settings. Then use AME to transcode that ProRes file to an h264 mp4 file. Does that do the same thing?
A lot of times audio drift can happen when using h264 mp4 files that are a variable frame rate, or audio settings don’t match up across the board – from original file, sequence settings, to export.

You can save a lumetri preset. But what you want after, I don’t think that is possible. What I usually do is span an adjustment layer over a bunch of clips that I want the same Lumetri effect, like a “look”, and put the effect onto the adjustment layer.
