What you are looking for is Safe Margins. Click on the little wrench to the lower right of your video to find Safe Margins. But, unless you are sending stuff out for broadcast, I wouldn’t worry about them. Your video will be fine for PC, tablet, phone…

Couple of thoughts. How much space is on your OS drive and on your drive you are rendering to? Have you tried turning off GPU acceleration and using software instead?

In fact, the best method is to drag from Media Browser. I usually shortcut import by using CMD-I, but some things are better done through Media Browser.

Looks like the extruded text was just made in Photoshop, then scaled from 0 in an NLE.

What codec and bit rate is your 1080 video?

I would contact the makers of your Powermate. See if there is a firmware update or something. I don’t know anyone using one of those.

Unless you are scaling to a different frame size, I’d just leave Max Quality Render off. I’ve gotten mixed results with it on even when scaling. So I never use it.

Are you exporting using AME or straight from PPro? Have you tried it straight from PPro’s export settings window? If not, give that a shot.

I did a test on my system. I took a 1920×1080 file dragged it to New Sequence – made a sequence that matched. Rendered that out to H264 to match video settings – high quality. Then changed the Sequence settings to be 1080×1080, did the same render. They both match. So I can only guess that it is somewhere in a difference of Sequence settings or Render settings. You haven’t provided those. A screen grab of each would help a great deal to figure out where the problem is.

Is PPro adding a LUT to the footage? If you go to your effects panel, do you see Lumetri?
