  • PNG files won’t show in exported material

    Hi,

    CC 2014
I have several stacked png files throughout my project. They are just black solids. In premiere they have multiple opacity masks.
Specifically when I check “use maximum render quality”… the final video will come out missing all the pngs.
If I export without it checked, everything exports fine.

    Is this to be expected?

    Thanks

You dont need max render quality if you have a dedicated gpu card.

Thanks. In the mean time I figured out how dumb I am. Max render was sort of cleaning up my work. What I did was I set my pngs opacity while having filmconvert on. Not being able to see in my previews nor in my non-max render exports the fact that the opacity work on its own for the pngs super low … therefore I couldn’t see the pngs anymore. So I went back, turned filmconvert off, readjusted opacity for pngs, then turned on filmconvert ( saw very dark previews this time) but when exported with max render, it was fine.

Unless you are scaling to a different frame size, I’d just leave Max Quality Render off. I’ve gotten mixed results with it on even when scaling. So I never use it.
