Hi all, thank you so much for all the help these forums provide.

I have been suffering 5-7 hour overnight exports for 20-40 minute videos for some time. Now this goes up to 12 and 17 hours.

    I have a MacBook Pro 1.1GhZ i7 with Graphics card AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB, RAM: 10GB 1333 Mhz DDR3
    Running Yosemite 10.10

I am using Adobe Premiere Pro CC 10.3.0 (2015.3 Release).
My camera is a Sony A65 producing .MTS AVHCD files. I shoot at 1920 x 1080 50fps because I often need to take stills from the video.
I am producing instructional videos for vimeo at 1920 x 1080.

The effects I use are an adjustment layer with lumetri color, brightness, and contrast adjustments.
I sometimes have a little bit of slow motion on a few clips.
Other media include a few GIFs 320×320 which I sometimes scale just a little bit (sometimes the slow-mo is on these).
and a couple of png files that I use in the title and credits section and a few other places. 1250×500 and 1198 x 441. These are sometimes scaled a little bit to fit with the video.
There are no modifications to the sound.

    Premiere settings:
Project settings: Renderer: Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL): activated
Export settings: Use maximum render quality NOT checked

I have created new sequence based on clip. This didn’t help.
I have tried export settings “matched to sequence”. This didn’t help.
    I have tried 30fps. This didn’t help.
I have tried vimeo export settings. This didn’t help.
I have tried “use previews” checked and unchecked. This didn’t help.
I have tried moving all the source files to the computer’s HD. This didn’t help.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!
    Violet

Couple of thoughts. How much space is on your OS drive and on your drive you are rendering to? Have you tried turning off GPU acceleration and using software instead?

Good suggestion re disk space. I was also wondering if you’d updated the operating system, which could maybe have slowed things down?
