This question seems to be about Premiere Pro, so I recommend asking in the Premiere Pro forum.

That said, I’ll point out that the GTX 670 is not one of the cards on the Premiere Pro whitelist for GPU acceleration, so you must have modified the text file to make that card work.

Updates can overwrite that text file, so your changes may just need to be redone.

    Also, read this:

  • Get an SSD for your After Effects disk cache. If you can’t do that, put your After Effects disk cache on the SSD on which you have your applications.

August 16, 2013 at 7:06 pm in reply to: AE CC and GTX680 Mac Cuda Support

I’ve tested with the GTX 680MX and GTX 675MX (iMacs) and added those to the list of cards that the next version of After Effects CC will use for CUDA acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer. This update should be released in late September, if all goes according to plan.

I’m in the process of testing some other cards for that release, too.

Also, be sure to read my previous comments on this thread about us enabling the use of untested, unsupported GPUs. That feature is looking pretty good, and I have confidence in us being able to release that in late September, too.

    > I need to track a dancers hands

The 3D Camera Tracker effect is for analyzing a scene and creating a synthetic camera that matches the camera used to record the scene so that you can insert static objects into the scene.

It is not for tracking moving objects in a scene, like someone moving their hands around.

None of the 3D camera tracker plug-ins are for tracking moving objects. That’s more what mocha is for (or even the tracker built in to After Effects).
