I plan to make 1080p (AVCHD based) tutorials in PremierePro CC, likely 3 camera feeds, and some 3d title work in AE CC.
    My planned Desktop setup is
    – win 7 pro
    – Intel i7 quad core 3820 processor
    – 32 GB crucial D3 1600 ram
    – NVidia GTX 680 (4GB)
    – SSD for apps
    – 2x 7200 rpm hard drives for media and cache/rendering

Is this adequate? or do I need to juice it up a little more.

Get an SSD for your After Effects disk cache. If you can’t do that, put your After Effects disk cache on the SSD on which you have your applications.
