  • Collect files; only collect frames from time re-mapped layer

Posted by Adam Al-hakeem on August 15, 2013 at 8:21 pm

I have created a 30 sec comp using clips from a 45min video. I used Time Remap on the video and am only using about 5 sec of footage but am pausing, slowing down and speeding up to a total time of 30 sec.

Now that I am done with the project I am achieving/collecting files. But I don’t want to collect all 45 min of the video footage I am sourcing. Is there a way to only grab the 5 sec of footage and maintain my Time Remap effect or will I have to render out the 30 sec comp as a proxy and use that to replace my 45 min video source?

My goal is to only achieve/collect 5 sec of source footage and not the 45 min video or 30 sec proxy video.

Collect Files does not do any trimming.
