    I’ve left the office where the deck is, but I’ll try tomorrow and let you know. I know 600 was set to 1394. Not sure about the other. Thanks.

    John,

    I’ve been trying to capture over FW. As far as I can tell, all menu settings are correct, but I continue to get an error message that there is no video. My easy setup is DVCProHD 720p24. I’ll review the menu settings again — must be something in there. Thanks very much for your help.

    Thanks. Is this something that can only be done with a capture card? Is it not possible with a direct firewire connection?

    Yes, I’m capturing directly out of the deck over Firewire. I’ll try that menu setting — it’s one I didn’t try earlier. Thanks,
