only a quick suggestion, need to leave right now.

    how about:

    valueAtTime (t)

[cant check the syntax right now]

this should fix it. or not?

make a solid layer or use your chimney layer as “obscuration layer” und visibility section of particular. the drawback here is that only 1bit alpha channels are support. hard edges may appear. these layers need to be 3d.

you can also precompose your particular layer and add the mask afterwards. but nor real 3d obscuration with this technique.

    good luck,

it really depends on what look you want to achieve.
maybe you can upload your banner.
after seeing it i will tell you what size will be appropriate for it.

the only way is to lessen the bitrate of the flv.

if you can delive .swf also, try to get rid of everything that needs to be rastered (moblur) and export as swf. this will be the smallest file possible if you use vector graphics like illustrator files.

by the way: do you mean kb (kilobit) or kB (kiloByte).

sounds like your swf export is vector based, and all effects and motionblur that needs to be rasterized are disabled (this is an option in the swf export dialog).

flv is pixelbased by default. no option here. you cant compare both file sizes, cause the technique behind is totally different.

by the way…60k are pretty small. how long is you animation?

there are many ways to do it.

    – you can make a supersized subcomp with all the credits inside and scroll this comp in the maincomp

    – you can make a supersized text layer in your maincomp and scroll this one. unfortanetely you can only see the portion of the credits that are visible at a specific moment in time. another drawback here is you cant draw a bounding box with the text tool.

    – you can break the text into some parts that make sense. and animate all this text with parenting to a null that is animated. dont parent all the text layers at the same time. do them step by step as they need to appear

    – and still…many other ways to do it

    good luck,

i dont understand exactly what you mean, because i dont see your footage. but i think “grow bounds” will fix it.

    good luck,
