  • hi,
your toonificator 2.0 comes with lots of presets and a manual.
does these presets (and the manual) work with version 3.X too?
    thanks,

  • i think its pretty normal that a program will get maybe chunky if two operators are opening the same file at the same time. nothing PPro special here.

the sharing is configured well. i can delete the file if i want, but cant overwrite it. why does every other app of the production studio can overwrite any files, but PPro not? this is a bug!

im not a network admin and dont want to be one in future – and my daughter is too young to manage it ;-)adobe needs to do their homework and i dont need to be one…

this bug needs to be fixed.

    any more answers?

  • hmmm. pretty weird.

the permissions need to be set correctly, because i can deletete, rename and… the file without any error message. im using the simple sharing method of XP because im far away from being a network admin.

    any other thoughts?

do you guys use the render queue or the “file->export” dialogue?

you will only be able to export to mpg2 using the render queue.

    good luck,

first i need to say: i dont know what i did wrong yesterday, but everything works perfect today…

i think it has to do with the aspect ratio of the film back, too. if the AR is at the default 1:1,5 and your resolution is set to 400*300 1:1,33 – maya uses only a portion of the filmback. its like 35mm film. depending on the format you use, different portions of your filmback will be exposed. but you need to be aware that if you dont have same AR not to use “Fit Resolution Gate: Fill” for the cam. “Fill” only works if you got same AR.

but im wondering because “horizontal” is the default here with maya 8.

    this problem really sucks.
i thought that i got rid of it, but its still there. just tried it without any luck.

but when i go through boujou and use the .ma file generated by boujou everything works perfect. even if i take the boujou-generated scene and scale things up or down – everything stays lined up.

there need to be a way to force the correct alignment. boujou knows how to do it.

    someone else?
