LOL, I’m all mixed up. What the heck do I want?? I really like the idea of using the effects from the plug-in chain. Will BCC7 give me what I was looking for in regards to the AE comparison?

And, sorry, I really didnt expected this thread to go so long.

Ok, I have installed the 32 bit version of Vegas and I do now have Boris 9 in my plug-in chain.

Its not behaving the way I expected it to though. I was watching a TUT online and all the effects where listed separately(seemed much easier to use). What I am seeing is just one Boris 9 effect. After I drag it to the clip and open the effect and “click here for options” I get a new app in lots of separate windows.

Can I get the effects to show up individually like I saw in the TUT?

    John,

I have Vegas Pro 10. Do I have to upgrade to 11 in order to get the 32 bit version?

Dumb question, will 32bit vegas work on 64bit box? If so where do I get the 32bit version. Also, is there a decrease in performance with the 32 bit versus the 64 bit?

Well the Continuum Complete for Vegas Pro is a little expensive for me. I downloaded and installed the trial version of the Boris FX instead, but I don’t see anything when I open Vegas. Was there something else I was supposed to do? I did notice in the installer there was no sony vegas 64bit only 32bit(the one I chose).

Thanks alot John, I’m going to purchase the Boris product then. I love using Vegas to edit its just lacking in the effects and motion tracking ect….. departments.

Hummmm, I figured out a workaround. Ram preview the clip first without the plugin. Then when I followed your steps it worked great.

Thaks alot John, I’m following your tutorial 🙂 I’m stuck on somthing, I started the process up to dynamic ram preview a small amount(it stopped). Then when I go to last good frame and try to drag the cursor to the end I keep getting the “Move the timeline cursor” message. It just seems messed up, I restarted Vegas once.
