    Well, no. I already had a monitor that came with my older Dell, its 18″ I think. I didn’t want to spend any more money, the Box alone was $1000. I think its ok for me and my hobby. Mabey I’ll upgrade the monitor later.

    Ok, thanks. I had an option to upgrade the graphics card and choose not and stay with what was included. That was really my only concern.

    I had a directly related question. So merging together the 2 video events slows down the transition at the cost of blended video. Can you slow down only the transition effect without merging the events?

    I am turning thoese levels almost all the way up hoping that that would solve my problem. So the meters were red alot. So thats my problem? I need to lower the main levels so theres no red hitting?

    So what seems to work good for me is to output from the Haugpauge in the m2ts format. Render from sony vegas in the same format. And when I upload to YouTube it comes over in great HD. BTW YouTube converts m2ts to mpegts. Thx.

    Ok, so the Preview was already set to “auto”. I am completley new to this and was wondering if there was a recomended safe app to use to convert my files to the DV avi widescreen format so I can test this solution out
