All my statements are all on me. And in my opinion, without going anywhere else – and there’s lots of other places to go – it just does not seem stable enough to me for use as the primary NLE on any long form project. Yet.

FCPX does do some things that could fit into a feature workflow. But in its current state of flux and instability to think that it would be the primary NLE on any budgeted feature is laughable.

The problem I’ve had the few times FCP X has been a part of my life is stability. Certainly I’ve read and heard that others have had this problem as well. So in the coming weeks I’d love to know if anyone is experiencing better performance in that regard.

Unless someone or something twists my arm way behind my back I am not buying anything that is announced in December. I’ll wait six to eight or even twelve months. And then they better give me what I had two years ago.
