Thanks guys, I was thinking of a second Mac for Audio work and smaller video projects…or replacing my current Dual 2.0 G5 with something like the Dual 2.7 and use my Dual 2 for audio. I’m leaning towards the 2.7 and using the 2.0 for audio.

    Thanks again,

    You left me wanting more!

I didn’t look, how was that encoded? (first time to use Quicktime 7) Very Quick and Clean!

Nuts, no mention of using different formats on the same timeline.

    I was hoping.

Yep, that’s what I’ve been doing…just adds an extra step. We paid more than FCP itself, just wish it would work.

One other question comes to mind, are they true SATA II disks in these units?

    Thanks for taking my questions,

What about fan noise, how loud are these units when running?

    Hi Mat,

Hey, on the S2S it says….Raid 0 can only be configured using 4 Drives, what happens to the 5th?

Also, I take it you can strip two of these units together, has there been any testing and record of transfer rate for that?

    Thanks,
    Tim

I’m starting to think it might be wise to replace my SCSI ultra 160’s with ultra 320’s. No new controller to buy, no new cables, just drives.

Now that being said……would it be better to have 10 73GB drive or 6 146GB drives?

Thanks, Monday’s coming soon, I lost sleep over this last night…..I think a Tylenol PM or two will do the trick tonight.
