Someone told me I should use motion sketch – I can’t believe I didn’t know about this! I redid it and it’s much better – still needs some tweaking on the timing.
I tried to use a Particle system but don’t have Trapcode Particular and couldn’t figure out how to make a custom particle within the particle effects already in AE. Would be good to know if it’s possible:) -
I’ve never used a particle system i don’t think… can i use it with the seeds that are already there? I thought a particle system created it’s own shapes

I watched this exact video a couple nights ago – and this is basically the method I’m trying to use – it’s just hard with so many different “balls” . I think part of my problem is i just don’t have the patience for it. I’m going to give it another go tonight. Thanks.

Lol . They are the same size comps. I fixed it by checking the collapse transformations box in the timeline. I don’t know why it worked but it totally fixed the cutting off issue. Now I just need to make the seeds go the right arc and speed.

I unchecked “Preview Bounds” in the Preferences and it has fixed all my problems!

Relief! I found out the answer searching on the internet. If this happens to you check your Channels window. I had a quick mask in the channels – how it happened i’ve no clue but i trashed it and my file is back to normal!!

If i turn all the layers with the background picture OFF, I still see that red image….

What about audio settings out of AE for upload to internet. The default says 48k uncompressed 16 bit. My video is about a minute and a half long and I just added some text in a few places…. Should i change these settings to make it smaller?
