The H264 is the best there is.
You can use Photo Jpeg, but it will be high over the 50 mb.If the clip looks ‘ a bit sof ‘, then color correct it a bit over the the limit and look how it looks after rendering.

Hey,
Sometimes i got the same problem. The i need to disconnect the ouput from fcp and then set the video preview again in AE(that is when the 2 are open, i am using a BM intensity card).
Strange that you can view HD via the firewire deck. I thought it wasn’t possible, unless it changed now.To view in AE, go to Preferences>video preview and set it in your case to Firewire DV.

Very interesting piece indeed.
I like to hear more of people who has ideas about this one.
There is indeed a lot of rotoscoping involved but theres a lot off(AE)camera moves in it aswell.
How did they do that. For example: it gets slowmo(probably shot 50 or 100 fps). Then the kiter gets rotoscoped, but then suddenly the camera rotates around the kiter and it fits in the end when it gets back in normal speed.
This kitesurfing so i dont think there wasnt many planned before they shot it.How did they achieve that?

H264 at best quality is the best option you have and should normally be good quality for the web.
