May 22, 2008 at 7:46 pmLooks like simple Mesh Warps on both layers and a tastefully designed dissolve.
The trick with these types of moves is matching up the clips so they sort of suggest good distortion effects either by position of similar content or by having similar metaphors. The heads or hands are sort of in the same place, a computer screen can turn into a book, a steering wheel can turn into bike handlebars, a door can turn into a blackboard.bogiesan
This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

May 22, 2008 at 8:43 pmHey there,
There are several plugins that makes this possible for NLE programs(not AE).
If you use motion or FCP aswell, you should check for CHV Morph FX on google.
It easy to use in motion and fcp.T.

May 23, 2008 at 4:57 pmThanks alot for all of your help and the swift responses. I will look into all of your suggestions.
I have one more, is there a morphing plugin for AE CS3 instead of using the Mesh Warp? If not, the Mesh Warp should work fine.
Thanks again,

May 24, 2008 at 3:50 amYou might try googling “plugin central” I don’t know if it’s stilla ctive.
There’s also the AE Portal and there used to be the AE Freemart. For the advetnurous there’s AE enhancers that helps you write your own effects and scripts. Creeps me out.bogiesan
