From now on you can save yourself some extra time, because when you want to render your whole project, there is no need to select or mark any part of the video. Just make sure that the RENDER LOOP REGION ONLY option is NOT selected and the whole project will be rendered. When you don’t have a selection on the timeline, this option is even greyed-out.

Only if you would like to render just a part of the project, you can drag a loop-region around the region of interest and activate the RENDER LOOP REGION ONLY option.

The light spot on the black background was made with the GRADIENT TOOL directly on the background layer, using the radial gradient from gray to transparant.

The shadows behind the text was made with the layerstyle tool that you will find at the bottom of the layers tab (see the picture in my previous reply).

The light effect on the text was made by adding a mask to the text layer (see the picture in the previous reply. You find the ADD MASK button also at the bottom of the layers tab. Then by applying a linear black to white gradient to the mask (make sure you select the mask first!), the light effect can be simulated. Just play with the place, direction and the length of the gradient and see that you can make it exactly as you like.

Normally you don’t have to select all the video on the timeline to be able to render the whole timeline. But like I mentioned before, make sure that you do NOT activate the RENDER LOOP REGION ONLY option.

To further improve the image, you can duplicate the track and apply the HARD LIGHT composition mode (see figure).
