Was some of my thread deleted?
I started the Widescreen on DVDA thread from a few days back. Checking back today, it seems over half the thread is gone! There was some helpful information in there. Did a mod delete it because it had strayed too far from the point?

Yes, the moderator deleted a lot of postings. The reason for this was explained here:

Okay, I understand that Jay was banned but what did that have to do with my thread? He made one incidental comment in it, yet it seems that 5 to 7 posts that had nothing to do with him were also deleted? Most of the thread was a troubleshooting dialogue between Dave and I. Mods, can you please explain why portions of my Widescreen thread were deleted?

Maybe Jay was part of that chain and everything chained off of his response gets deleted? Not sure though?? Just repost your question and I’m sure you will receive some very good suggestions and information again.
