Although it is difficult so say without knowing what edits you made after saving under a different name, your story sounds like you introduced a lot of extra keyframes. Keyframes are added automaticly when the timeline of effects are set to update with the main timeline.

If you have to count blue dots (is this something like LacZ, beta gal or nuclear bodies?), you might be better off with a program like Blobfinder, which you can download here for free:

Since your footage is coming from SVHS tapes, it is very likely that your footage is not widescreen. So in that case you shouldn’t make your project widescreen. Just make your projectsettings similar to your footage.

But if you move the window again over the tab window, it will try to stick again. If you don’t like this, just press Ctrl while you drag and the window will not stick into the tab window anymore.

I would like to give many thanks to Edward Troxel who spent several days and nights to re-program MontageMagic in such a way that it can be opened now also on computers with a Dutch Windows. I really enjoyed your daily mails! Thanks a lot!

In case somebody else is having the same problem: the solution is quit simpel. Go to the PREFS tab and deselect the option SUBPIXEL PIP PRECISION.

Activate the appropriate settings for ripple edit. Then doublclick the gap (it will become a region) and poress the DEL button.

Unlike the pro-version of Vegas, the movie studio versions do not allow the import of .vf files.
So what you can do is open your main project. Then open a second copy of Movie Studio and copy/paste the content to the main project. You can repeat this as many times as needed.Theo

I quess that you have added this window to the tab window. Every window has on the left side on top a cross (to close) an arrowpoint (to increase the size of the window) and a number of dots.
Place your mouse on top of the dots, click the left mouse button and drag the window to where ever you would like to have it.
