I have some additional information about the problem. Instead of waiting for RER5.05, I decided today to reinstall RED 5.02 back. But I am not able anymore to install 5.02 or 5.00, while they have been installed on my computer.
Could this all have something to do with a recent windows update?

I would think that the foreground guy was shooted with chroma keying and just placed on top of the background movie which had been speeded first…

This sounds a bit like the option that Vegas has and that is called nested veg files

Thanks. But i have no idea how to rebuild permissions in Windows 7. And I didn’t have this error with RED5.0 or 5.02. So I hope somebody can advice me on how to proceed.

Creating the dice with 6 square sites will be no problem. But Neil is also asking how to make the corners round just like a real dice. I have been puzzling with this problem for quit some time, but I never found the solution. But I’m sure John can explain it to us?

In addition to the aboved mentioned problems with saving, I have a general problem with saving from RED5 stand alone version. I can save my project, but when I open it, again, it is empty.
Am I the only one and do I have to reinstall RED 5 or is this a bug where Boris is working on already?Apart from the audio import in Red 5 I mentioned before, I also have problems with importing video into RED 5 stand alone.
Also, when I open RED from within Vegas and I have set track motion to 3D source alpha, RED will open, but again the project is empty.
Finally, I observed quit frequently in the stand alone version of RED 5 that values for keyframes return to default values.

The veg files are part of a tutorial about 3D track motion that I wrote for the Dutch Vegasforum. Unfortunately the tutorials are written in Dutch, but if you have any question about the veg files, you can always ask them here. And if needed, I can always try to translate the tutorials into English.

If you want something like these examples, I could send you the project files. You can adapt those Vegas 10 pro veg file exactly as you need, changing the pictures for text, changing the motion or whatever you like.
I have also this one which you can be adapted to whatever you wish, but I made this one in After Effects:

I have a similar problem wuth Vegas pro 10d.
The clip is about 20 seconds long. I rendered to a wmv file and the audio was complete.

Then I replaced the video part to something else and rendered again to wmv (same settings). Then the last part of the audio was missing:

I have repeated the rendering several times, rendering the whole project (20 seconds) or just rendering a selection (the same 20 seconds). Or even extended the project. But whatever I tried, always was the last part of the audio missing.
