It simply doesn’t matter as far as the mix goes.
Check the output level and go with whichever is correct. -

“Shuffle Track Play” is not usually a VIDEO function.
Any DVD player that has that feature is likely to only enable its operation if an AUDIO CD is being played in the tray.
I don’t know how one would create a DVD disc with a “Random play” built-in command.
At the end of a track, there is usually placed a command that tells the player to either “go to X” or “hold.”
I don’t think there is a common “go to ‘random’ track” command.
If anyone else has seen this, please post.

How could WE know, it YOU don’t know how it was captured.
There may not BE a correct setting for this, but you can just keep trying different ones.

Don’t know of any networks and stations that don’t use compressor/limiters on the output to the transmitter.

The stand-alone device is called a “Compressor/Limiter.”
There are scores of them availalble.
There are plug-in filters in editing software that perform this task as well.
