Hello,
It turns out the behavior has nothing to do with the timing problem. I just noticed it more.
So I put in one JPEG screenshot. That’s it. When initializing the Motion project, the duration was 10 seconds. The time line ends at 10 seconds. The “Show Project Duration” reads
10 seconds. Then when I open System Preferences/ Time and Date and follow the second hand, the 10 second movie takes 20 seconds to run. After 10 seconds we are at the 5 second mark.
So the problem initiates before the export. So it’s not the export settings.
Motion is running twice as slow as what the time line purports.
Is there a setting somewhere ???

Hi Robin, thanks for replying.
Quicktime plays the motion project twice as fast. I changed the playback speed to one half and it worked fine. See the attachments to see how the parameters were setup

Thanks for your suggestions and feedback. I may try the audio EQ method you were talking about.
Let’s say I use 3 EQ bands. So that will cut my audio sources to 24 divided by 3 = 8.
But then you have to keep track of which notes are in which EQ band, and you have extra writing giving each image it’s unique EQ band.My music program has a button which will take a midi track and separate all the notes into their own midi tracks.
AS far as the timing – the midi track converted to audio will have the timing built in as long as the sound track is in sync with the main music track.
