    Hello,
I see a lot of things on the web about Liquid Paintings.
Being in video, I want to capture colorful blends in movement.
What does Motion 5 have to offer in this artistic agenda?

Also, the video has lens simulation which makes the picture look like those old fun houses at the fair which have the curved mirrors which can make you look skinny or fat.

    This video has examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jgpSClKo-4

    Thank you,
    Terry Maloney

To give everybody a cleared picture of what I am looking for.
What program is this? Can you do it in motion 5?

Have a look at this test project – maybe there are some things in there that would be useful for you. The Bump Map filter gives a nice displacement effect (driven by a modified Clouds generator) and the Indent filter on top of that adds an element of depth.

    Hello Simon
    Wonderful,
This is exactly what I was looking for.
I never used the Bump Map filter.
Is that where you choose your colors and starting point?
    Thanks a lot, Simon.

The Bump Map filter isn’t doing anything with the colours, it’s just “stirring up” the layer it’s applied to. The colours come from the two gradients and I’m masking between them so we get a nice variation. So dive into the gradients if you want to change up the colours.

I’ve made you a quick FCP X Generator version so you can play around with it more easily. Here are the published parameters:
