What steps are you doing when importing or exporting the stills and what are the exact error messages you’re getting? I’m not seeing any errors when dealing with saved stills.

The format you’re trying to export to requires the width and height to be divisible by two so it’s automatically rounded. The best practice would be to work in a resolution that doesn’t have odd values.

What is it that you’re actually trying to do here? Export gallery stills as files then trying to bring them back with corrections?

Well as you haven’t told your original footage format, exact export/project/sequence settings we can’t really troubleshoot this.

There are more to codecs than just bitrate. Also I’m wondering why you think h264 is “better” when it has less color information from the chroma subsampling?

It seems that the Displaylink isn’t showing as a display in a way that Resolve would recognize it.

It’s not advisable to keep multiple versions and projects aren’t backwards compatible.

“Do. Not. Get. The. App. Store. Version. It has serious Apple sandboxing issues and limitations. The dongle/activation code version has the same price and doesn’t have the limitations. One could also buy the Fusion dongle. You can run both standalone Fusion and Resolve with that.

If the overexposed area has absolutely no data to bring back then the only way is a reshoot.

Where’s your footage from? Does the footage have unique identifiers for Resolve to work with? For example timecode and/or reel names?

That format isn’t supported. You’ll need to transcode it to a format that is.
