Good? No. Passable? Maybe, depending on what you’re doing in what resolution. If you need something right now then go for it. I’d personally save up and buy something better.

This has been a problem ever since the trashcan was released. It was designed to look nice but they didn’t care about the cooling so it’ll overheat and you get some neat artifacting because of that. You can try a few things: if you’re under warranty then try to get the GPUs changed, force Resolve to render slower or blast the machine with a fan while you’re working to cool it down.

Oh god yes. Lumetri is limited and pretty terrible to work with IMO and I only use it if I’m working on a really fast turnaround project.

Can you not contact the Red Giant customer support for some reason?

Then you probably have some sort of read/write permission issue in the destination where you’re trying to read/write from.
