Make a new sequence with the proper settings and copy/paste everything from the SD sequence to the new one.

Try to test your RAM with memtest and try turning the Freddie Mercury Playback to software.

You could try turning on frame blending when converting. It won’t be as good as Twixtor but it might work.

There are many kinds of 2K sequences. Are you sure the aspect ratio of the sequence is 2,35?

I’m not using it because I don’t use FCPX but I wouldn’t mind a similar app thingy for Premiere and/or After Effects 😉

Personally I’ve only had problems with dynamic linking between the two. Your mileage may vary.

Also if you ever do anyhing in Resolve you DO NOT want to use H.264.
