Use a high enough H264 level that can output the resolution you need. Or export to a format that doesn’t have those kind of restrictions.

Open up the case and check that you don’t have any dust on the fans. I’ve had some issues where fans have gotten so gunked up they can’t move the air around fast enough. You could also try to put a fan next to the computer and try to cool it off.
If there’s actual hardware problems with your computer these are only temporary bandaids and you should start looking for a new computer or replacement parts.

QT Pro has been dead for a while and I’m not sure it reads timecode from .mp4 files. If you bring the file back to Premiere does it have the timecode?

Import the original footage and conform from the media pool.

Well the first thing would be to check: do the proxies actually match the originals in timecode/reel and/or other metadata?

If you need the fastest final render time possible then you will need a server to make a render farm to and render to image sequences. That’s pretty much it.

This happens if you have an OFX plugin that’s not working properly. Usually it might be an older plugin that doesn’t work on newer applications or there’s some other compatibility issue. You should be able to add more plugins if you just go to the OFX page but if this keeps happening you might have a faulty plugin that’s not compatible with Resolve.
