Do you need to stabilize the whole thing? It would be easier to deal with shorter clips.

This is super annoying especially when I have a mastering project with close to hundred sequences.

I have a Late 2012 iMac with a 675MX and this also happens on the latest Yosemite. Also Resolve will absolutely wreck itself if I even try to look at 4K stuff. Like hard lock and reset. There has to be some conflict with OS X and CUDA.

There are a bunch of settings in the link media window. One of which is if the linking uses the extension.

You can scene detect in Resolve and export an XML out to Premiere.

The same answer applies. If you’re using features that are using the GPU (for example scaling on export) then it’ll help.
