You can take a clip from the Event browser and fix all of it, or you can take a clip from the storyline and change just the selected part (the In and Out from the full clip)

You shuold use “open in timeline” and set the channels levels there. in this option, you enter the “inside” of the clip and can edit the video and the audio and add filters.
after you exit the “open in timeline” option, you see just one audio strip that represent two channels, you don’t loose sync and you can lower the levels when you need as you do for a stereo.

    Hi

It’s work well, I have Multibridge Pro and I online a movie that was shut in DV and HD.
I capture all the DV (16×9 and letterbox) with no problems as HD.

If you updated the Multibridge Pro Driver, check if the control panel in the system preferences is not set to “extended desktop”
    it should set to “Black”

FCP update ONLY!! sequences the you didn’t change in any parameter.
So, if you trim the In/Out points
or if there is clip that prevent the sequence from change duration
it will be no change and you nested sequence will be “Version” of the original sequence.

    Hi

I don’t know tool that does it automatically,
but an editor assistant can do it in two or three days from a copy of the original sequence, or better from the copy of the project.

In one of the the films I consult , the editor assistants work for 3 days and create cut list from the EDL, they convert and check every In and Out points from 25 fps EDL to 24 Cut list.

    so unnesting is easy.
