You have been very helpful and I really appreciate the recommendations and support. Taking the time out of, what is probably a busy day, I want you to know you are appreciated. And I wish you lived next door to me.

I do have MPEG Streamclip and actually know how to use it, amazing!

I am over my panic and you have mentioned some sources that will do the job. I am sure as I investigate further will find more.

Thanks again for your guidance. I just need to stop fearing technology!

As strange as this may seem, I am glad that you feel it is strange. I always think it is me. I am not the most technical of people. You have been very helpful. At least I know that I did some right things.

The camera I used is a borrowed Canon Rebel Ti4, 2012.

I will follow your suggestions in downloading free trial Lightroom and I could also do a free download with CS 6. [ I have two PC and Mac ] plenty of places to put trials. If the 6 works that gives me the answer, which could be that my version of photoshop does not support the Rebel canon.

Adobe photoshop camera raw version 6.7.0.339

Ryan,

I have tired both ways you suggested. I get “Could not complete our request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera raw.”

In theory I should have been able to open the CR2 files. I also checked for updates and restarted the computer.

I couldn’t find where to get the plug-in. I agree with log and transfer. I had to do something and it worked… it did take forever.
If someone could guide with me with a link to the plug-in download it would be so appreciated. I would much rather work with log and transfer. Best Suzin
