  • Question on getting properties for a video and mouse

Posted by Suzin Daly on November 24, 2012 at 2:41 pm

I need to get properties information from a video, and my mouse does not right click. How would I get the properties window to come up and can I set my mouse to do right and left click? Is so where do I go to to set this up.

    Hi Suzin,
Generally, you can “Control Click” to bring up the right-click context menu. This just means you hold down the “Control” button on the keyboard while clicking.

If you go to the Mouse menu in the System Preferences, you should find an option to enable a “secondary click” or depending on the mouse you are using, it may have an image of the mouse with drop-down menus for each button on the mouse. The left and right buttons on the wired mice default to primary click on both the left and right side, but you can change the right button to a “Secondary Click”

    Hope that helps!
