  • Thank you for the replay, I stand to be corrected, DSLR is not a format, wasn’t thinking it is H.264. Question, when I setting up for new project which do I set up for DSLR or AVCHD?

    Ryan,

Once again I thank you for taking the time to offer further information. I would definitely take your recommendations into consideration if I decide to move up to a new DSLR.

    Ryan,

Thank you again pointing out about the ‘CF card structure intact’ .
That I do understand and have kept it intact.

Knowing people who have used the Canon Plug in and having it worked made me a bit of a pit bull in wanting it to work for me too. It seems it is a problem for the t4i, and others have had to modify the .plist… I am not going there.

As you had suggested about other third party such as MPEG… that is what I am using. For now it works great and all I am doing is simple test shots etc. If in the future I get heavy into the Canon…. then I will research and look into other recommendations you have already mentioned.

On another note, I again thank you for your response and taking the time to give guidance. It is truly very much appreciated.

    Warren,

Thank you for the information. When I checked I would have to upgrade to 10.7 or more. Right now on am on 10.6 For now I am using a work around with MPEG Stream. It works well enough.
