Well, it had happened to me in 6.0.2 but the one time in 6.0.4 the multiclips came out fine.
As an afterthought, I guess this might be happening either
a) when the active angle in the multiclip has media which starts later than other angles in the clip
OR
b) when the active video angle is different from the active audio
OR
c) combination of (a) and (b)I don’t have the time right now to check this out, perhaps you can?
Anyway, this looks like a bug with Media Manager and multiclips. -
OK, I guess you want to select all the master clips in the Browser and apply the Desaturate filter to all of them at once. As far as I know this is not possible.
But you can do this:
Put all the master clips into a timeline, ‘select-all’ in timeline, apply the Desaturate filter, then drag all the desaturated clips from the timeline back into a new bin in the browser. Now use these clips in the new bin as your master clips for the edit.

Which version of FCP are you using? I have had this probem in FCP 6.0.2 which seems to have been corrected in FCP 6.0.4.

Glad you could finally sort it out.

For starters, why not the Final Cut Pro User Manual?
Look under Volume IV-Media Management and Output>Part II-Project Interchange>Chapter 10.
It is all about EDLs and I don’t think you would need to look anywhere else! -

No, not that I know of.
To find a keyboard shortcut, press ‘option-H’ to open the Keyboard Layout Window and then just click on the search field – all available commands and keyboard shortcuts will be listed. -

compared to what I have seen till now, its results are unbelieveable.

Can you try adding the lower thirds to the master sequence in AE and exporting the final QT from AE?
If the color shift is still happening, it might then be a Quicktime problem rather. -
If you haven’t started editing yet, desaturate the master clips, nest each one into its own sequence and then use the nested sequences as source clips for your edit.
If you have finished your edit, you can do a ‘find all’ (command-F) in your timeline for the clip name and then paste attributes to the entire selection at once.
