  • How to Fix LOW LIGHT GRAIN in FCP???

Posted by Sebastian Lee on March 28, 2009 at 6:00 pm

I shot at a club with an HVX200, 720/24p. I am editing and I want to know if anyone knows how to get rid of the LOW LIGHT GRAIN.

Can you do it FCP or do you need a “plug in”? Plus, if you could include the steps, that would be great.

I am trying to get the best quality, because I am going to show this in Film Festivals.

    Any help would be appreciated!

YOu may want to post a still from the footage. But if the grain is in the footage, and I’m guessing the footage is still a little dark, there is not too much you can do to get rid of it, a little softening (slight blur) helps to reduce the effect. No magic plug in.
