I was trying to use “Media Manager” for the very first time to backup sequences of a project. The whole project is full of multclips since I used 2 and sometimes 3 cameras to record 200 food receipes.
When I try to use Media Manager, it “exports” / copy the final sequences to where I asked for with all multiclips used in the sequence. But, the multiclips exported were no longer on sync.
Does anybody knows why this happens ?

Which version of FCP are you using? I have had this probem in FCP 6.0.2 which seems to have been corrected in FCP 6.0.4.

Well, it had happened to me in 6.0.2 but the one time in 6.0.4 the multiclips came out fine.

As an afterthought, I guess this might be happening either

    a) when the active angle in the multiclip has media which starts later than other angles in the clip
    OR
    b) when the active video angle is different from the active audio
    OR
    c) combination of (a) and (b)

I don’t have the time right now to check this out, perhaps you can?
Anyway, this looks like a bug with Media Manager and multiclips.

It is not just a little bug … For those (like me) that needs to work with multclips and save/backup client’s images, it is a dinosaur …
