The problem you are having is not GPU related, if im remembering correctly,
that issue was a known bug for some Vegas users, but was corrected in future
releases…. You using what was the latest version of Vegas 10, which was

I also recommend an AMD GPU as Scott advised, not everything revolves around Intel.
And also get Mercalli as you mentioned earlier in your post, it’s better and

Simply render out a different format from Resolve that sits well with Vegas.
And to my knowledge, Vegas Pro 13 handles that format far better than Vegas 12.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

The native filters that comes with Vegas don’t have anything like that,
a plugin that comes to mind that can create such an effect along with
many others is Pixelan SpiceMaster, you can download a trial and test

Well if you upgraded to Windows 10 and that stared happening, that also
indicates you also need to upgrade Vegas to version 13.

Lagging during preview playback of certain video formats is normal at times.
I do not categorize that as a problem!
The most important thing to keep in mind, is that as long as its not your
final renders that are lagging, then all is well.

Try uninstalling Vegas and delete all its folders. Then restart your
system, re-install Vegas and see what happens.
