  • Slow rendering with Vegas Pro 12 and Windows 10

I just did my Windows 10 update and my DVD rendering has significantly slowed. I am using MainConcept MPEG-2 Encoder (DVDA NTSC Widescreen)and Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro (Stereo DVD). The Frames stop and go during rendering. Before I upgraded to Windows 10, the Frames used to go at a steady rate, not stop and go.

I had four different items rendering a the same time. The first two did not exhibit the stop and go for the Frames. After the first two completed rendering, the 3rd and 4th files still went stop and go so I cancelled them and restarted the rendering. They both still had the stop and go Frame issue.

Well if you upgraded to Windows 10 and that stared happening, that also
indicates you also need to upgrade Vegas to version 13.
Vegas Pro 13 does not have that issue with Windows 10.
