I dont know about healthier…but rendering to a drive
separate from your D drive is perfectly ok.
You are good to go with the new specs you just mention.

The specifications you have outlined above is
an okay harddrive configuration…As you have put it.
Except your C Drive that should contain the installed
softwares needed is best not to be external.

But i wouldn’t suggest a USB2.0 Drive…Firewire is better.
And yes, your E drive can be external.

You just need to right click the mouse and while holding down
on it…drag over the keyframes…a drop down box will appear
(you will also see that a white dot will be in all the keyframes).
Then you press copy and proceed.

Thats the best you are gonna get in the “studio” version.
If you want total control over customization along with
more options for output quality, etc….you are gonna have to
get the professional version for all that.
