are getting from it presently should be faster than that.

But when all is said and done, you know what the solution has to be.

There isn’t much you can do with your current computer to
noticeably increase its render time/speed….your best option
is to just upgrade to a faster more powerful computer if you
really want to see performance gains.

Even so…the time you stated it takes to render a 2 minute
video shouldn’t take that long on your computer.
Clean up the computer thoroughly and also the registry and
uninstall files and programs you do not use and
have nothing running or open when you are rendering…
especially the net.

If you reinstall it, the setup folder will be put back in place.
Files and sub-folders that appear after a software is installed
are there for a reason…so if you are not deprived for space…
leave them alone.

Are you playing it back on your computer or on a DVD
player?
If you are playing it back on a DVD player, you maybe not seeing
if the other video is highlighted or not….due because you
did not set a visible enough color highlight for each video
when you move to it.
lol..i dont know if you can make sense of what i am trying to say.

You can also easily use the “maintenance wizard”.
To just reaffirm that everything is in place..
by going to your directory…eg:

C:/Program Files/Sony Setup/Vegas Pro 8.0
and click “vegas80_enu”

disable the “video monitor” button there.
