Im sure you are not going to always do your renderings
like this…lol. Just to climb over this hurdle to meet your
deadline, im sure it will work.Therefore i can somewhat assume that something (event) on the

Since you have basically tried everything else,
have you tried breaking them up in increments (small pieces),
and render a piece at a time in the final format….then when all pieces are done you assemble back on the timeline to do the

mpeg2 is the correct format to render in when creating DVD’s.
From following your workflow, your audio drop on your final
output is coming from an issue with Nero, not Vegas.Steve Rhoden

Try opening the “event pan/crop” window (pressing the little box
on the edge of the video clip)…then you right click and select

You can try applying a de-interlace filter to the video
clip….then capture your still as usual at the point of
your cursor. Hence try this free de-interlacing filter
called “Smart Deinterlace” with some other useful ones at:

Did you try just saving it as jpeg or another format and see
if you got the same result?
I also use (CS2), But strangely i don’t often save my files
in .psd that im gonna import in Vegas or Architect..(habit i guess)Steve Rhoden

The process that suits your need is called “tracking”.
a process that would place your smoke at one central spot while
the camera moves….basic tracking can be handled in vegas using
the keyframes. But for a more detailed and accurate track result,
a dedicated tracking software or plugin can be called upon.
For my tracking needs i use Imagineer Monet…However there
is a decent tracking plugin for such tasks for vegas in BorisFX.Steve Rhoden
