Well….i won’t stop singing..lol
Vegas is not perfect and has drawbacks just like every NLE
out there…And if i find vegas unable to do a task,
(there are some)…dont bother me, i just use a next tool
to fill the gap. Doesn’t mean Vegas is going down the tube.If you start singing for FCP…you will soon be singing for
another….then another….because none is perfect.Steve Rhoden

Well..i can say that your Xena configuration is more (geared)
designed to work with premiere, after effects or combustion.
So the fact that things are not smooth using premiere either
is proof that its not a Vegas issue….so you probabaly need
to do some tweaking in your capturing workflow or contact them
about the audio & video quality issue when placed in an NLE, by
filling this out.

Have you tried changing the frame rate to see if that
made a difference ?
Or are you adding the video to a (23.97 fps timeline)?

The footage is already recorded in the quality that the
HDV Sony Z1 provides….so using a different camera to
capture the contents to your computer alters nothing.Steve Rhoden

Normally i always try to recommend the best tools
to everyone if you want the best at what you want to do…
no exceptions….So i would suggest for you to just invest
in “Adobe PhotoShop” or “Corel PhotoPaint“.Steve Rhoden
