  • Audio and Video in slow motion?

    I’m using Vegas Pro 8
I opened Vegas and the audio and the video on the entire time line is in slow motion and I’m not sure why or how it happened. I didn’t change any thing, I opened a different project in Vegas and it did the same thing. It was working fine the day before.

    Allen,
To your left at the bottom of the timeline…you will see
a little yellow triangular icon…right click it and set it to 1

I tried that it was at one and it still is the same, is there a key stroke that maybe caused this. I also opened up DVD Architect and that played fine, after that I thought I would go back in Vegas and go to “explorer” and try to see if the music in my library would play and I got the same bad sound as well but it played fine in itunes.

    Thats Odd!
Try initiating the “maintenance wizard” by going to your
“sony setup” folder in “my programs” and in the vegas 8
folder click on “vegas80_enu” and follow the instructions.
I am hoping things will fall back into place after this.
    Let me know.

Would it be labeled a different way because I’m not seeing “vegas80_enu”.

OK then…in that folder there should be two installation icons,
one name “setup” and another. Click the other (probably named
differently on your system) and you should see the “Maintenance
    Wizard” installation pop up.

When I go in my folder and click on sony and then click on Vegas Pro 8 there is no set up option, all I see is:
Vegas Pro 8 Network Render Service
    Vegas Pro 8 Read me
    Vegas Pro 8
    Video Capture 6.0 Read me

Do I need to reinstall the program.

Go in the “sony setup” folder not the Sony one.
    C:/Program Files/Sony Setup/Vegas Pro 8.0
